Everything is ready in Palermo for Sherbeth 2018, the international artisan ice cream festival. Appointment from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 September, when the center of the capital will be transformed into a large village of taste: in the laboratory in via Bari 20 thousand kilos of ice cream will be prepared, which can be tasted by the participants.
Now in its tenth edition, the event is always very popular. Location that wins, does not change, therefore the area between via Maqueda, corso Vittorio Emanuele and piazza Giuseppe Verdi is confirmed.
It begins on September 27, at 18, with the official inauguration. Sherbet 2018 is included in the event calendar of Palermo Italian Capital of Culture 2018. The conclusion will take place on Sunday 30, at 10 pm, with the awarding of the prestigious Procopio Cutò competition. In the competition there will be fifty ice cream masters, selected for the award of the trophy dedicated to the historical father, as well as ambassador, of the sorbet in Europe, the Sicilian Francesco Procopio Cutò.

Sherbeth 2018 is a perfect opportunity to discover innovative tastes and proposals from all over the world, including countries such as Mexico, the United States, Bolivia and Brazil. There will also be Japan, which in 2017 won the trophy: the three Japanese in the race will once again amaze the public with a hazelnut ice cream combined with tonca beans and a cherry blossom and white chocolate ice cream.
